IBPS Sverige, founded in 1996 as a subsidiary organization to IBPS International with chapters in USA, Australia, England and Taiwan.

In Taiwan, the main temple known as Fo Guang Shan, which means "Buddha's Light Mountain".

The temple was founded by Master Hsing Yun 1967th It now houses more than a thousand monks and nuns, making it China's largest monasteries including both Taiwan and the mainland.

Master Hsing Yun is also the founder of Buddha's Light International Association, BLIA.
